Aoife’s 2nd Class visited Clarehaven and St. Clare’s nursing homes on Tuesday and brought with them their favourite toy and book and they also made a card for their partners. Well done to the children who engaged incredibly well with the residents.
Junior Infant vaccinations
The HSE were in school today to give the Junior Infant children their vaccinations. All the children were cool as cucumbers, well done. The teddy bears were a great help.
Senior Infants visit Botanic Gardens
As part of the Green schools focus on biodiversity and exploring our local environment the children from Senior Infants paid a visit to the Botanic Gardens today.
Green School Committee
We plan to plant a wildflower area in the school grounds over the next few weeks as part of the Green School’s biodiversity focus. If you would like to be involved in this please let me know by email to [email protected].
Student council – Board Games Donations
The Student Council had to idea to use the log cabin for a quiet/games/reading area during yard time for the children who would prefer this than a busy yard. We’re planning on trialling it after mid-term.
Student council members will be there to support a maximum of 20 children.
