Amazing Antarctica

Thank you to Kevin and Richard for a really interesting and cool visit to Senior Infants and 2^nd classes. We are very grateful to be one of the schools taking part in this. We learned lots more about the amazing continent and saw first hand footage from Richard’s recent trip there and got to try out a demo model of the technology.  For more see this video (see 1 minute into the video for demo model used in Antarctica).

I was delighted to be invited to attend an Acts of Solidarity event in DCU last Friday which included a panel discussion on Arts and Ethics education.

Road Safety

The parents did an amazing job last week highlighting the safe use of the school grounds to motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, thank you so much for your time. Please remember to be respectful to everyone in our school community at drop-off and collection times, especially in the poor weather conditions we are experiencing at the moment.
