Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,
Please see this important new
Digital Device Policy (click here to read) as a result of the recent circular from the Department banning all phones in school. This supports our Parent Pact and
Smart Phone Free childhood movement.
Assembly
Thanks to Alison’s and Aoife/Naomi’s classes, we had beautiful assemblies to reflect on and celebrate all the work on Friendship in this month. See our
Gaeilgeoirí na Míosa below.

Modern Foreign Languages
5th and 6th class students will be introduced to either French or Spanish over the coming months. Relevant parents will receive an information leaflet soon.
Wellbeing Focus: Yoga
This month, pupils across the school have been enjoying short, age-appropriate yoga activities. Yoga helps children build strength, balance, and flexibility, while also supporting calm breathing, focus, and emotional regulation.
Activities are kept short, fun, and non-competitive, and are often used before or after yard time or during transitions to help children feel settled and ready to learn.
Please see the photos below of pupils taking part in yoga activities in school.
🏡 Try Yoga at Home Families might like to try these simple poses together:
- Tree Pose 🌳 – stand on one leg, arms up like branches
- Butterfly Pose 🦋 – sit with feet together and gently flap knees
- Cat–Cow 🐱🐮 – on hands and knees, round and dip the back slowly
