Reminders:
- School closure at 12pm on Friday, 14th March 2025 for staff training.
- School closure on May 7th for Maths training.
- If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home until they are feeling better.
- When dropping or collecting your child early/late to/from school please ensure you close the pedestrian gate securely on your way in and out of the school.

Thank you for some interesting and valid feedback this week on the Homework Policy which will be taken into consideration. The Board met last night and feel the Policy is a balanced reflection of the consultation process. This has now been ratified.

Epilepsy Awareness Day
Purple Day (March 25th) is a major awareness and fundraising day for Epilepsy Ireland to support the services they provide across the country. Tom in 5th class set himself the challenge to complete a MASSIVE half a million steps in the 30 days leading up to Purple Day. He met his target on Monday, three days ahead of schedule, and he has raised over €2200 to date.
World Autism Awareness day on April 2nd
We will be marking it in school over a week, starting on Monday 12th April. We will be encouraging everyone to wear blue on Friday 16th when we will also come together, via Zoom, to sing a song to celebrate our own Autism Awareness day.
