Reminders:
- School closure at 12pm on Friday, 14th March 2025 for staff training.
- School closure on May 7th for Maths training.
- If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home until they are feeling better.
- When dropping or collecting your child early/late to/from school please ensure you close the pedestrian gate securely on your way in and out of the school.

Annual Meeting of Board of Management with Parent Body combined with PTA AGM will take place on 23rd November 2022 at 7pm in the school hall. All parents are warmly invited to attend. We are delighted to offer a talk by well-known speaker, Dr Colman Noctor, child and adolescent psychoanalytical psychotherapist.
Parent/Teacher Meetings
You will have received by now notification of Parent/Teacher meetings taking place next week. This year there is the option to book an In-person Parent/Teacher meeting or a meeting on Zoom. Monday and Wednesday have been assigned for Zoom meetings. In-person meetings will be held on Tuesday and Thursday. A link to your Zoom meeting will be sent to you by your teacher. Please email Nicky in the office if you have any problems/questions.
Swimming Resumed
4th class got off to a great start with their first day of swimming of their six-week programme.
Athletics in DCU
It’s fantastic to have learning opportunities again within our local community. Some classes enjoyed participating in an athletics workshop in DCU today are part of four sessions between October and December.

Stand Up Awareness Week
Next week is Stand Up Awareness Week. This week is an opportunity to take steps to make spaces safe and supportive for LGBTQ+ young people. To show our support we are going to have a Rainbow Day on Friday 18th of November. The children are encouraged to wear bright and colourful clothing on the day to celebrate.
- This is an important part of our review of Anti-Bullying during the month of November.
- Science Week
- November 23rd Annual Meeting of BoM and Parents and PTA AGM.
- Educate Together One Day Together fundraising event in November.
