Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

ECA Policy Update

Thanks to Rachael for her contribution to developing this policy and to the ECA committee for their significant contribution towards the ongoing running and organisation of this facility which many benefit from. Please click here to read the update policy.

UDL (Universal Design for Learning) & Wellbeing

You may be interested in having a look at these links which are part of new guidance from the NCSE Relate. They are very much aligned with our ET ethos & values, wellbeing focus, and our ongoing training on UDL. Thanks to David & Caroline who are attending a UDL session this afternoon.

Hot Meals

We are currently exploring different providers of hot meals who are committed to sustainability as well as good quality food. There are other factors to consider including appropriate space, logistics, etc. We will be in touch when we have more information.

Seachtain na Gaeilge – Calling all ceolteoirí, rinceoirí agus scéaltóirí 🍀🍀

GETNS will be celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge from the 3rd to the 7th of March this year. We are looking for musicians, dancers, singers and storytellers to help us make this year’s SNAG extra special. If you have a talent you would like to share as part of our Ceolchoirm, please get in touch with the Aoifes ASAP 💚 🍀

Thank you to our ANA Claire’s dad Eamon for designing and building this wonderful sensory wall / “busy board” for ALC Green. Thanks for your kindness!

Reminders:

  • School closure at 12pm on Friday, 14th March 2025 for staff training in Bí Cineálta.
  • School closure May 7th for Maths training.
  • If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home until they are feeling better.
  • When dropping or collecting your child early/late to/from school please ensure you close the pedestrian gate securely on your way in and out of the school.

Frása na Seachtaine:

“Cad a rinne tú ar an deireadh seachtaine? Chuaigh mé go dtí an chlós súgartha/ pictiúrlann/ teach mo chara” –

“What did you do at the weekend? I went to the playground/cinema/my friend’s house.”

Le meas
