Visit of Na Fianna Senior Club Hurling Champions to the School

This morning some of the players and their families visited the school. They brought along their silverware from County, Leinster and All Ireland championships for all to see. The children gave them a very warm welcome and asked the players some very interesting questions. Na Fianna Abú

A big thank you to Sylvia’s class for coming to help Emma’s junior infants learn about circuits. We learnt lots and had fun along the way.

Daniel’s JI really enjoyed having Sylvia’s 5th class in to teach us all about circuits! We made a light switch and a propellor fly!

We really enjoying learning the the Chinese fan dance in Jill’s 1st Class

Today Sylvia’s 5th class and Siobhán’s 2nd class worked together on circuits. We look forward to more science collaborations and peer learning.

Sponsored Walk – Sunday 9th March 2025 2pm: Join us for the Glasnevin ETNS GET Sponsored Walk, join the whole school community for a super enjoyable walk followed by a refreshment in the school hall

Table Quiz – Saturday 5th April 2025: One of our favourite fundraisers of the year is back again this April, start gathering your team now!

Art Day – Friday 13th June 2025: We cannot wait for Art Day this year, we are busy planning in the background, but this is definitely one of the best days of the School Calendar, loved by children and adults alike. We will be looking for lots of help from parents to make this one the best yet!

Reminders:

• School closure at 12pm on Friday, 14th March 2025 for staff training in Bí Cineálta.
• School closure May 7th for Maths training.
• If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home until they are feeling better.
• When dropping or collecting your child early/late to/from school please ensure you close the pedestrian gate securely on your way in and out of the school.
