Reminders:

  • School closure at 12pm on Friday, 14th March 2025 for staff training.
  • School closure on May 7th for Maths training.
  • If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home until they are feeling better.
  • When dropping or collecting your child early/late to/from school please ensure you close the pedestrian gate securely on your way in and out of the school.

Trick r Treat for Temple Street

The efforts to dress up on Friday 22nd Oct were frightfully impressive and we raised €463 for Temple St., well done all!

Visit by Minister Pascal Donohue and the Co-ordinator of Maths Week

You may have seen us feature in the Irish Times and some posts on Twitter. The children engaged really well with a mock budget exercise and the Minister for Finance spoke with the children. A valuable lesson came through that when increasing funding in one area it has to come from somewhere else.

Board of Management Annual meeting with parents/guardians followed by PTA AGM

will be held on the evening of 24th November 2021 over Zoom. All parents welcome, details will follow closer to the date.

Dublin City Libraries – Children’s Services

Your colleagues, parents and pupils may be interested in the following free eResource that is now available from Dublin City Libraries.


LOTE Online for Kids allows kids to enjoy the magic of books in LOTE (Languages Other Than English), both in the library and at home. Kids can also watch each LOTE title translated and narrated in English to help with reading and literacy development. To access it, all that is needed is a Dublin City Libraries library card number.


There are over 1200 book titles in over 40 languages as follows: English, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mexican Spanish, Persian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish (Latin America), Tamil, Turkish, Urdu, and Vietnamese.
