We’re proud of Susan our ex-colleague speaking up for some of the most vunerable in society and about the lack of consistent supports our country provides (click here to listen).

Fun Learning!

One of my favourite small pleasures this week was being invitied into Lisa’s class to see 2nd class creations… beautiful vilages designed and made from clay, leaves, conkers, wildflowers.

Our Towns Project

The children had great fun designing and building their own towns! Working in groups, they created maps of streets and buildings inspired by where they live, then brought them to life using clay, conkers, leaves, and twigs. The results were creative, unique, and full of teamwork and imagination! Lisa

Naomi and Aoife’s 4th class were treated to a presentation from Aedan Serbin and his mum Hannah to teach the class all about Jewish New Year. They also shared some delicious apple soaked in honey to celebrate Rosh Hashanah. Naomi

A massive Thank You to Niamh for coming in as Mystery reader last Friday in Dee’s Senior Infant class. We loved the story book. Dee

Dee’s class also made our Homes and you can see them displayed on our window. Dee

First Class enjoyed a sunny walk through Griffith Park on Wednesday before visiting Drumcondra Library. Author and illustrator Tarsila Kruse read her story A Little Birdie Told Me and helped the class make their own colourful bird masks. Ross

Girls Gaelic Football Team

This years Gaelic Football competition for the girls has come to an end. They were amazing and represented our school with grace and determination. We are so proud of them!
