Reminders:

School closure at 12pm on Friday, 14th March 2025 for staff training.
School closure on May 7th for Maths training.
If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home until they are feeling better.
When dropping or collecting your child early/late to/from school please ensure you close the pedestrian gate securely on your way in and out of the school.

Daniel’s JI having great fun exploring different ways to problem solve with the new maths curriculum 😊

Both 2nd classes have begun literacy power hour twice a week and are enjoying reading, writing and word work stations.

Our inspection began at the end of January and finished up at the beginning of this week. We are really happy with the outcome and appreciate input from parents, Board of Management, pupils and staff. We are particularly delighted to see how impressed the Inspectors were by the children, praising their emotional intelligence, respect for self and others, understanding of inclusion and sense of belonging. I am really grateful to all the staff and it is a credit to our teachers that the planning and teaching of SPHE was deemed excellent. We will keep you posted on the report. Maith sibh!

Wellbeing Week will take place this year from May 27th-31st. The aim of this week is to foster positive mental health and wellbeing in our wider school community.

We would love to involve the wider school community in endorsing positive mental health and wellbeing. If any parents are willing to share their skills and talents with us in terms of music, meditation, mindfulness, fitness, healthy eating, art, or any other skill, interest or passion which enhances wellbeing, please get in touch!
