Assembly on Value of the month – Growth Mindset

Well done to Ava’s 2nd class and David’s 5th class who played a blinder on explaining a difficult concept of Growth Mindset!

Health and Safety Reminder

Driving into the school at collection time is not allowed. A small number of cars have prearranged access to the school currently, due to additional needs. We request that all parents please follow the school’s Guidance for Motorists for the safety of all.

David’s 5th class on News2day – Our class were delighted to be featured on news2day this week. Two weeks ago, we submitted our questions for the main political leaders in the run up to the election. Last week we were informed that Daniel and Leon’s questions had been chosen. We made a video recording in the classroom and submitted to the programme editor.


On Monday our questions were put to Simon Harris, on Tuesday to Mary Lou McDonald and on Wednesday to Micheál Martin. We really enjoyed hearing their responses!

A big thank you from Emma’s class for the donation of a bean bag and a bucket seat.

Daniel’s JI are having great fun doing our phonic stations with Caroline in the morning! 

Jill and Gavin’s 1st classes went on the new N2 bus to the playground in The Bogies yesterday. When the children came back to school they drew a map of the things they saw from the bus.

Hannah in 2nd class is starring in the panto in The Helix, best of luck!!!

• If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home until they are feeling better.
• When dropping or collecting your child early/late to/from school please ensure you close the pedestrian gate securely on your way in and out of the school.
