Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

School Closes Early (for Primary Language Curriculum Training): 12:30pm 24th November

Resuming regular times for entering and exiting school premises

Thank you for your support with recent guidance on staggered times, however from Monday we will revert to all children coming into school at 8:40am and leaving at 1:20pm/2:20pm. As always, we encourage children to take their time coming in the gate allowing space for each other. It would be great if the adults present, could model and encourage this also.

COVID Reminder

Due to the prevalence of other non-COVID related illnesses such as RSV, the HSE has recommended that children remain at home until they are free from any symptoms for 48hrs, regardless of a COVID negative test. Staying home if you are sick is the best way of keeping our school safe.

We thank you for keeping your children at home if they are displaying any symptoms.

6th Class learn about Sikhism

The 6th class children learned about Sikhism this week and Ranjit from their Khalsa paid a visit to the class on Tuesday and explained the meaning of the 5 K’s, symbols of the Sikh religion.

Primary Curriculum – Consultation with Parents

Consultation with primary schools and special schools by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) on the Draft Primary Curriculum Framework  has now reopened.

This consultation presents an important opportunity for everyone interested in changes to the primary curriculum to have their say in shaping the future curriculum.

Parents play an important role in supporting their child’s education and so we would like to invite you to share your perspectives on the proposals for a future primary school curriculum https://surveyhero.com/c/mrefuzfc.
