And More!
Daniel’s JI having great fun exploring different ways to problem solve with the new maths curriculum 😊
Both 2nd classes have begun literacy power hour twice a week and are enjoying reading, writing and word work stations.
Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,
Welcome back pupils, staff and parents. We are absolutely thrilled that for the first time in the journey of GETNS we have the same team on board as last year, and what a team it is! Welcome back Sorcha (Deputy Principal) on return from maternity leave. Thanks again to Áine (Assistant Principal) who played a blinder acting up for Sorcha. We’re very happy to have Aoife back from maternity leave also.
It is absolutely wonderful to see all of the children again and to hear of their multiple adventures and happy stories from the summer break, and to see them so settled into their new classes already. We are especially delighted to meet the new Junior Infants and two new children in the ALC.
Value of the month is Respect
Staggered Entry/Exit Times
On reflection, and on observation of what is happening currently, from Monday we will reduce the gap between the staggered times. It remains our objective to keep everyone safe and as distanced as possible and we encourage children to make their way to their teacher independently where possible. Thank you for the feedback received.
