And More!

Daniel’s JI having great fun exploring different ways to problem solve with the new maths curriculum 😊

Both 2nd classes have begun literacy power hour twice a week and are enjoying reading, writing and word work stations.

Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

Quote of the Week

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass it’s about learning to dance in the rain”

COVID Update

Following on from recent notifications I just want to reassure you that there was absolutely no spread of the case of COVID-19 within the school. It is a reminder of how we all really have to remain vigilant and that the measures work. As the week has progressed the entry and exit to school have become safer again and we greatly appreciate everyone’s cooperation and input.  Please click here to view the most up to date HSE Isolation Quick Guide for Parents/Guardians.

World Down Syndrome Day

We are marking this day on Friday, tomorrow, by encouraging the children to wear mismatched socks or their craziest & most colourful socks. The #LotsOfSocks campaign exists to raise awareness about Down syndrome. The brighter, more colourful the better in celebration of people with Down syndrome and the many ways that they make our world brighter.

WoW for the Week

Well done Film Maker, Clemence

Over the summer Clemence from 4th class made a short film about Grace O’Malley called The Pirate Queen. It will feature in the Fresh Film Festival junior young filmmaker category and will be screened next Thursday March 25 from 10.30am at www.freshfilmfestival.com

Frása na Seachtaine: “Conas tá an aimsir? Tá sé go brea” – “What is the weather like? It is lovely”.
