Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,
Unity
We had lovely Junior Assembly led by Emma’s class and Senior Assembly led by Sylvia’s. It brings great joy to see each of the classes across the school growing as a unit and as demonstrated by our assemblies today allowing each person to be accepted as themselves while working together in a unified way. As a whole school we have much to celebrate already this year with whole school unified effort to WOW (Walk and Whisper) around the school building; our Girl’s GAA team showing how to succeed as a team allowing and supporting each person to fulfil their role in the team. We also have our wider school community events like the awesome Autumn Fair and tomorrow’s One Day Together/Trick ‘r Treat for Temple St. as important reminders of unity in action.
Enrolment applications for Junior Infants 2027 is open on the school website under the Enrolment Page and will close on Friday 23rd October 2026. An application must be made for a child starting in Junior Infants 2027 whose sibling will be in the school in September 2027. Sibling applications will not be accepted after the closing date. You can read the Admissions Policy (click here to access).

Cumman na mBunscoil Winners of Corn na Laoch Cup
On Monday the 19th of October our Senior Girls' football team made history winning the Corn Na Laoch cup!
It was a fantastic day for the whole school community. Our 5th/6th classes attended Croke Park along with parents/guardians, friends and relatives! It was a day to be remembered with a nail biting finish! We never gave up showing great resilience and strength....I hope you enjoy our video!

I just wanted to say that it has been a pleasure to lead the team this year. The girls have all worked really hard, showed great determination and I am so delighted that they all experienced Croke Park! Winning was well deserved and we will be getting the cup engraved very soon! Thanks to the parents, staff and school community for the support. Onwards and upwards. Siobhán
We are all very grateful to Siobhán for an excellent job at coaching the girl’s team during her lunchtime. Another career in her there, why not!
Dress up day tomorrow as part of One Day Together – Educate Togethers Annual Fundraiser & Trick 'r Treat for Temple St.
Reminder that we will have dress up day tomorrow (no weapons as part of costumes please) to raise funds to support Educate Togethers work (click here if you would like to contribute to this annual fundraising event) and as in years gone by, we also invite families to donate what they can to Temple Street (click here to donate) or your child can bring some money in.
Autumn Fair
The Autumn Fair was a very special whole school community event. The kids were full of great excitement still on Monday and this day continues to build many happy memories. We are hugely grateful to Claire and her team and all of the 2nd class parents for the huge work, energy and creativity invested in this. Thanks to all of the parents who helped in many other ways.
