Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

Art Day

We are all super excited about Art Day tomorrow and have no doubt its going to be a lot of fun with a multitude of creative opportunities for all the children.

Many months of hard work have gone into preparing for Art Day and we are especially grateful to Karen, Marena, Lisa, Rosie, Michele, Rachel, Alwyn and Michelle for all they have done.

Don’t forget to bring a glass jar and plain t-shirt.

AEN (Additional Educational Needs) Policy

Following further review of this policy in line with Educate Together AGM policy motion our Special Needs Assistants are now called “Additional Needs Assistants” (ANAs). In the interest of clarity and consistency we have decided to replace the word “special” with “additional” i.e. SEN “Special Educational Needs” is now “Additional Educational Needs”, Special Education Teacher” is now “Additional Education Teacher”.  Click her to see ratified by the Board last night.

ECA Policy

See amendments to ECA Policy also ratified last night.

Call out!!!!

We are looking for 2 Volunteers per class volunteers (maybe some of you who haven’t had a chance yet) to give up a couple of hours on Friday 24th from 2:30 – 4:30pm or Saturday 25th June 10am – 12pm to clear an outdoor space under the sycamore tree into a skip. The intention is to create an outdoor classroom, and this is step 1 of a very exciting project which you would be contributing too.
