And More!

Daniel’s JI having great fun exploring different ways to problem solve with the new maths curriculum 😊

Both 2nd classes have begun literacy power hour twice a week and are enjoying reading, writing and word work stations.

Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

Value of the month – Responsibility

We enjoyed a lovely assembly on Responsibility with 5th class treating us all to a play and an excellent rap written and performed by Kara. We heard the story of the Tale of Two Wolves, reminding us to feed the good wolf, especially at such times as these. At the start of the assembly we listened to “Kíla’s Tóg go bog é”.

Value of the month of December is Simplicity

Entering and exiting school premises

Entering

We expect everyone to take their time coming in the gate allowing space for each other.  When necessary, please stand back for a minute of two until the gateway is clear.

Once inside the gate, walk only, no wheels, thank you.

Exiting

Classes are exiting one class at a time. On exiting, once outside the gate, please move along quickly so we can allow the next class out.

COVID Reminder

Due to the prevalence of other non-COVID related illnesses such as RSV, the HSE has recommended that children remain at home until they are free from any symptoms for 48hrs, regardless of a COVID negative test. Staying home if you are sick is the best way of keeping our school safe.

We thank you for keeping your children at home if they are displaying any symptoms.

Frása na Seachtaine:

“Tóg go bog é” – “Take it easy”“Tóg go héasca é ar do bhealach insteach sa scoil” – “Take it easy on the way into school”
