Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

Gaelic Football Teams

The girls’ gaelic football team (20 girls from 5th and 6th class) played their first match yesterday against S. Eithne’s GNS in Edenmore 4g 17p to 1g 2. Yeah! What a start! The next match will be against St. Malachy’s NS in Erins Isle club on 16th September. Support is most welcome.

The boys’ team are playing their first match as we write this in Na Fianna. Glasnevin ETNS Abú!

Well done to everyone involved. We are very proud of you all. Thanks to all the staff that provide this opportunity.

School Meals

We have selected a provider for school meals and are very grateful to all of our tasters in June who helped with this part of the process, pupils, parents and Board members. We will be in touch with more information shortly.

Random Act of Kindness

Thank you to Rob for donating a number of laptops to the school. We will make great use of them.

Extra-Curricular Activities

A big thank you to everyone who signed up for our Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs). We were delighted to see such a fantastic level of interest in the clubs on offer.

As some clubs were oversubscribed, places were limited. If you have not received an email from the club provider offering your child a place, unfortunately, a place could not be offered on this occasion. Thank you for your understanding.

Please note: If a place becomes available over the coming days, we will contact families on the waiting list with an offer.

There are still spaces available in the following ECAs. If you are interested, please check the class eligibility and click the relevant Sign Up Here link.
