Reminders:

  • School closure at 12pm on Friday, 14th March 2025 for staff training.
  • School closure on May 7th for Maths training.
  • If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home until they are feeling better.
  • When dropping or collecting your child early/late to/from school please ensure you close the pedestrian gate securely on your way in and out of the school.

Daniel’s JI having great fun exploring different ways to problem solve with the new maths curriculum 😊

Both 2nd classes have begun literacy power hour twice a week and are enjoying reading, writing and word work stations.

Thank You from 6th Class

A huge thank you for supporting 6th class’s Junior Entrepreneur business Make ‘n Bake last Friday. It was great to see so many excited faces and we really hope you enjoyed making ‘n baking cookies.


We still have a limited number of Make n’ Bake products left and these can be purchased from 6th class tomorrow, 20th May.

School Emblem

Thank you for lots of fantastic artwork entries for the new Emblem art competition. The winner is Annie in 6th class, with runners up Áine in 6th class and Caimin in ALC Blue.


Sam performed in the TheatreworX production of ‘Aladdin’ last weekend as Aladdin (see photo below).



James, in Dee’s Senior Infants, demonstrated his home project to his class (see video below).

Mystery Reader in Junior Infants

Sorcha’s Junior Infants welcomed another mystery reader today. The children are loving having someone different read to them! Thank you to the parents involved.

Hurling Match Win!

The boys won their 2nd hurling match today, playing at home in Na Fianna. Some fantastic performances on the pitch today. Thanks to Ciarán and Donal for coaching the team over the past few weeks and to the parents who help us out with coaching and pitch setup.



The girls will have their 2nd match on Monday playing at home in Na Fianna. All support is very welcome!
