And More!

Daniel’s JI having great fun exploring different ways to problem solve with the new maths curriculum 😊

Both 2nd classes have begun literacy power hour twice a week and are enjoying reading, writing and word work stations.

Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

Value of the month is Friendship and Inclusion

I hope you are staying safe and sane. All the staff have been working very hard to help with this adjustment back to remote learning. To date the level of engagement from the children and yourselves is a credit to all. As I am sure you are aware further changes are on the horizon potentially. We will continue to do our best to keep things going and roll with whatever comes.

Following discussions we have decided to send home the boxes of books to children from 3rd to 6th class. Please note they are to be used exactly as they are in school, work is recorded in copies rather than directly into the text books, which are a school resource beyond this year and will be collected at the end of the school year.

We would appreciate if one adult per family collects boxes and for those that have more than one child in this age group please collect at the earlier time. Wearing a mask and social distancing are essential.

Times for collection tomorrow morning:

9:30am – 10am 3rd Class Maeve
10am – 10:30am 3rd Class Naomi
10:30am – 11am 4th Class
11am – 11:30am 5th Class
11:30 – 12pm 6th Class

Communication will continue through Aladdin Noticeboard as well as the online platform. If you haven’t already done so, please download the Aladdin Connect app onto your phone or device. All plans and resources will be posted on the Noticeboard ahead of Monday of morning. If you have any trouble accessing your Aladdin account please contact Nicky on 0861381823.
