Camogie Final in Croke Park

A massive congratulations to the camogie team who made it all the way to Croke Park in Corn na mBunscoil this year. The girls played in Croke Park on Tuesday, with the whole school there to support. The team worked hard to the last minute and should be very proud of their achievements this year. We have no doubt that we will be back again soon!

School Visits and Summer Stars – Drumcondra Library

We’re just writing to let you know that Summer Stars, the national summer reading programme launched today. We’re inviting children up to 12 years old to come to the local library, register for a library card if they don’t already have one, and join Summer Stars.

Summer Stars runs until the end of August every year. The public libraries invite kids to sign up, receive a reading card for them to record the books they read, and as they read they will win prizes. All children need to join is their own library card. Click here to access Our membership form here, but parents can also register their children online and come into the library to collect the library card and join Summer Stars.

Summer Stars is a great way of keeping children reading and engaged over the summer holidays, and we will have lots of events and competitions running between now and September.

Drumcondra Library is open Monday-Saturday: M/W/F/S: 10.00am-1.00pm and 2.00pm-5.00pm and Tu/Th: 12.45pm-4.00pm and 4.45pm-8.00pm
