Reminders:

  • School closure at 12pm on Friday, 14th March 2025 for staff training.
  • School closure on May 7th for Maths training.
  • If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home until they are feeling better.
  • When dropping or collecting your child early/late to/from school please ensure you close the pedestrian gate securely on your way in and out of the school.

Thanks to Catherine and Susy, our Library is looking tip top, complete with new arrivals displayed. Thank you!

Admissions for September 2025

The school’s Annual Admissions Notice will be published on the school website on 23rd September 2024. The application form will open on 7th October for 3 weeks, closing on 25th October 2024. Applications after the closing date will not be accepted.

Nut Free School

Please check ingredients of any lunch box items to ensure there are no nuts included hazelnuts, pistachio, cashew, peanuts and pine nuts. Be aware that some pesto’s are not nut free, please choose the nut free variety.

Local Secondary School Admissions Information


ECA’s starts next Monday, 16th September 2024.

Club Gaeilge

There are still spaces left in Niamh’s Club Gaeilge. In Club Gaeilge, we will have lots of fun playing games, creating art, baking, listening to music, watching films, reading, writing and much more all in Irish. The students will be prepped with the grammar and vocabulary they will need prior to each activity so that they can fully engage in the lesson, extend their Gaeilge and challenge themselves, all while having fun with friends. The club will run each Tuesday from October 17th – December 10th and will cost €75 for the term. To sign your child up please fill out this form. Bígí linn!

Recycling Information

I just wanted to let you know, that following the sucess of last weeks event in Ballymun, the City Council are holding a Finglas Recycling Day this Saturday 14th September, 2024, from 10am – 2pm at the Finglas Civic Offices car park, Mellowes Road, Finglas, D 11


The items collected include mattresses, WEEE Electrical items and clothes.
