Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

Educate Together AGM – Saturday, 10th May

yself and another Board member will attend the AGM this Saturday in Carlow ETNS.

Reminder to Art Day is on 13th June – click here to Volunteer

Thanks to all the parents who are busy organising and preparing for Art Day 2025!

And More!

We carried out an experiment in 2nd Class using water, ink and balloons to recreate how the octopus defends itself. Siobhán & Ava

Daniel’s JI had great fun in the sun on a nature scavenger hunt! 🌞

The hurling team got off to a fantastic start last week in what was a very close game with only one point separating the sides at full time. We showed great determination as we were behind for most of the game. Some fantastic hurling from those who play with clubs and great enthusiasm from those coming out to try hurling with the school.’

Reminders:

  • If your child is unwell or has been sent home because they are not well, please keep them at home for 48hrs and only return to school when better.
  • When dropping or collecting your child early/late to/from school please ensure you close the pedestrian gate securely on your way in and out of the school.

Frása na Seachtaine:

“Cad é seo? Is dronuilleog é. Is triantán é. Is cearnóg é.” – “What is this? It’s a rectangle. It’s a triangle. It’s a square.”

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As part of Bike Week, Dublin City Council is hosting a FREE Family Park Cycle at Poppintree Park on Sunday, 18th May from 10am to 11am – and everyone is invited!

Join us for a fun-filled morning on two wheels, led by our friendly cycle trainer. It’s the perfect way for families to get active together and enjoy the great outdoors! Kids will receive special certificates, and we’ve got a limited number of goody bags to give away – so don’t miss out!

Check out the attached poster for all the details and scan the QR code to register today.

Please spread the word to students and parents – and pop a copy of the poster on your school notice board!

Thanks and enjoy the bank holiday weekend ahead.

Kind regards,

Caroline
