And More!

Daniel’s JI having great fun exploring different ways to problem solve with the new maths curriculum 😊

Both 2nd classes have begun literacy power hour twice a week and are enjoying reading, writing and word work stations.

Dear Parents and Guardians/A Thuismitheoirí agus a Chaomhnóirí,

We had a wonderful assembly on Responsibility lead by Niamh’s 5th class on Tuesday. They gave us lots of examples of what responsibility is and sang a song for us. We were also treated to some dance routines by children from 4th and 3rd class, which were fantastic! For the month of November our wellbeing focus was affirmations and children enjoyed practicing saying positive affirmations in their classrooms.

Value and Wellbeing focus for December is Kindness.

Junior Infants Blue & Dee’s 1st Class play music with Ciara & Nathan

We were fortunate today to have a visit from Juno’s parents Nathan and Ciara. They introduced us to the violin and viola. They played the three bears song for us to sing along to and gave every child a chance to play twinkle, twinkle on the violin! Thank you, Ciara and Nathan, the children loved it!

Senior Infant children are continuing to enjoy their mystery readers coming in.

Belle from Maeve’s 4th class helped put up the Christmas tree, showing responsibility.

We’re looking forward to marking Hanukah, the Winter Solstice and Christmas in December.

St Vincent de Paul Food Hamper Collection

We’re happy to facilitate a collection for St Vincent de Paul if anyone would like to contribute. Donations dropped to the school please before Wednesday, 7th December. See poster below.

Reminder:

  • The buzzer on the pedestrian gate is not working. Until it is repaired, for access during school hours please call 0861381823.
  • School closes on Wednesday 21st December at 12pm.
