We look forward to welcoming Orlaith back to work on Monday and are fortunate to be holding onto Naomi on a part time basis.

The contractors have finished the underground work on the traffic lights outside the school and Dublin City Council are working on them at the moment. The final step will be for the ESB to connect them.

Important notice re:  Voluntary Donations

At the time of moving to the new school we would like to thank the parents who make regular financial contributions to the school. Your ongoing support is invaluable. Following a review of the paperwork it seems that many of the donors who make contributions by standing order have not completed the CHY4 form for the relevant years. This form allows us to claim back tax on the donations made (at no cost to you). If this is you could you pop into the office and sign these forms for 2015 and 2016 (or earlier if you haven’t done it before). Or you can call or mail Karen and she will send it to you. It is really just a matter of putting in your PPS number and signing. We can insert amount donated if you cannot recall it.

For parents who do not currently donate can we take this opportunity to inform you of the scheme in place in the school. For donations of €250 or over per annum the school waives the annual stationary charge, swimming lesson costs and annual school trip costs for that family. To receive this waiver the family must complete the CHY4 mentioned above, in order that the school can claim tax back from Revenue. Once this form is completed it will be entered on the internal system and the teachers will have a note that the children are exempt from these costs.

Donations can be made as a once off payment or through monthly payments starting at €21.
